BASIC CAR KEYS

We have most common car keys in stock to fit all makes and models, from old to new vehicles.

 

 

 

 

TRANSPONDER KEYS

If your car was produced after 1995, it may have a transponder equipped immobiliser technology installed as a factory option.

To be sure that your car is equipped with a transponder key.

Most likely to have a transponder key:

  • Japanese cars sold here in New Zealand new after 1995.
  • European models either new or imported after 1995.
  • A high Japanese used import after 2000.
  • A car of many make of model produced after 2005.

Least likely to not have a transponder key:

  • A Japanese used import.
  • A low cost basic model of New Zealand new car
  • Any car produced before 1995.

A Transponder key needs to be recognised by the ECU of t he vehicle concerned before it will allow the engine to start.

This means that it has to be introduced to the vehicles electronics and be programmed to it.

 

STANDARD AUTOMOTIVE KEYS 

 This is the standard key for vehicles.

 

KEY BLANK & SHELL

We can replace key shells and transfer the electronics to the new shells and cut the new blank.

 

 

 

 

INDUSTRIAL KEYS

 For use with industrial and plant vehicles.
